Wanted to know why you would think my car jerks. It only happens when Im at a red light and when I go to give gas it will give a quick jerk once, then it will go with no problem. At first I thought it was because I might be hitting the gas to fast but then I discovered that wasnt it. Then i had my transmission fluid changed,that wasnt it so I was just wondering what it is.

does the car have a check engine light on or does it feel like the engine is misfiring when it happends

No my check engine light has never been on and I dont really know about the misfiring what exactly does that mean.

well it shakes a little more than usual when its just sitting while its running, but it drives fine.

do you know when your last tune up was. you may have a plug wire arching causing a rough idle
