I have a serious power steering fluid leak and would like to get an estimate for the repair costs. I do not want to get ripped off by a mechanic and decided to ask my question online. I hear a grinding sound when I attempt to steer my vehicle, and any added fluid comes out of it immediately. This problem just happened last night, and it is Christmas Eve. I know my car will be out of commission for a while, but I would like to know approximately how much I should have to spent to get it repaired.

Up to $35 for diagnosis. Then an estimate can be done on what is needed.
