2006 Chevy Impala engine noise

now that the weather is turning colder our impala whines when you start it. As you push on the gas it gets louder. If your foot is off the gas you don't hear it. What could be wrong?

Hi Lanaanderson,

Check your Power Steering Pump Reservoir. When it gets low on fluid, it will put out a whining noise.
