Well I recently put a ECT sensor on my 06 impala to try to keep it from running hot but it apparently didnt work. Now I'm trying to see what is making my car continously run hot. After the lights pop on saying that my car is running hot the car power down.

have a pro check your cooling system you may have an intake gasket leaking or a head gasket leaking.
