2006 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 94483 miles

i was hooking a amp up in the trunk of my car. evry thing was fine so i unpluged the amp to tighten evry thing down to my amp. when i went to turn my car off the key would not come out of the ignition. now my car does not start, and none of the buttons work such as trunk, lock, or light buttons.

You blew a fuse, maybe more, probably your main fuse. Under the hood. Next time, remove the battery cables before doing any electrical work.
