Have a problem, not sure where to start. I have a 2005 Chev Impala 3.4 V6. It involves the temperature gauge. When mobile, the gauge reads about midways on gauge (believe this the normal reading). When stop at light the gauge will increase to the 3/4 mark, but go no higher and does not activate overheat light. This is without AC on. Turn AC on and it stays about midways both driving and stopped. Not sure if this may be temp sensor issue or gauge issue. This prob just recently started, but fuel gauge has been inaccurate for a year or so....winds all the way around gauge unless you "click" it back into empty and restart car, where it will go to actual level for short time. Any ideas?

Check and test the thermostat and the coolant temperature sensor.
