I cannot find the location of the speed sensor on my impala 3.8,Your help would be very much appreciated.

3.4/3 8L engines.

It is on right rear of engine compartment end of trans-axle.

You need to go through the right front tire and wheel.

2003 Chevrolet Impala is 3800. looking for the location of the automatic transmission speed sensor (not the VSS). Photo below is of the part i am asking about.
