Transmission problem
2005 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
In Nov 2009 the trans did not go in drive only in reverse. It sat until today when I started it up. I was able to drive forward around the block.I listened to hear the gears change but it was smooth. It did not rev high in first gear and stay there. I also took out the stick and smelled the fluid, it did not smell burnt.
could the problem be sensors in the trans. Thanks in advance for your answer.
