Today as I was on the interstate, at about 50 mph, the car kind of skipped a link of the timing belt. Having only but 38000 miles, Impala LS 2004, I was wondering what else could it be? Please advice! Thanks Leoq.l

It could be an engine misfire caused from a spark plug and wire being carbon tracked.
