2004 Chevy Impala Cruise control linkage

I broke a connection off of the throttle that sets my cruise control. the cable is the one from the cruise control module to the throttle. The part that secures the cable snapped off the throttle unit. it does not appear to be able to go back on. is this something I can replace myself. obviously being more careful this time.
