why does the change oil lite come on when I start the car as I had the oil changed a month ago? how can I make it go away?

It has to be manually reset and he didn't do it. Turn the key on and hit the accelerator hard all the way to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds. I usually hit it for times and have better luck. If it doesn't clear the first time, shut the key off and repeat the sequence.
