I have a 04 impala. After installing a aftermarket cd player in the car, my dashboard lights stop working. The illuminator which allows me to see how fast i'm driving at night, and the part that allows me to select the a/c heat doesn't illuminate. The interior dome lights work, and the cruise control, check engine lights come on. Is that the sign of a bad BCM? I checked all the fuses and no fuses are blown. OR do you think I need a whole new instrument cluster, my cluster does stick from time to time and doesn't read the right speed/temp.

Thanks

Did you use an adapter from player to existing car radio plug?
