Try to start car without holding the gas a little bit and won't start. Hold the gas pedal a little bit and it will start. Has new fuel filter, plugs, and wires. Why won't it idle without holding the gas pedal.

You shouldn't have to hold the gas pedal.
Check your fuel pressure

If low fuel pressure, check your fuel pressure regulator, then check voltage at the fuel pump (accessible thru a door in your trunk).

If fuel pressure good, check your TPS sensor.
