I have a 2003 Chevy Impala, and I am having and lately my car has been idling super hard, the RPM is constantly going up and down between 0 and 1 and sometimes harder than it should. I am praying that my engine isn't going out, but I wanted to see if anyone had any issues with the same thing?

try cleaning your throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner. also clean teh square type hole that is there as that is the idle air control valve and ithey get gunked up with oil and stuff. They become sticky. Then clean your tPS switch which is on the side of the throttle body. clean it as well.
