I am doing a project for a college class that requires us to invent something. My invention is a sensor to let you know when your license plate light is out. So my question is how does information from the vehicle transmit to the message center?

Just so you know, it has been done already. So older foreign cars did that in the 80's and 90's. If you come up with any other ideas respond back i might be able to help you.
