what happens to your car is you turn it off without puttin it in park

If the shifter didn't lock up then just turn the ignition key to "acc" without starting the engine, shift the lever to park, turn the ignition key back to lock and remove key.

Hi there,

Nothing untoward will occur, the park selection has a small locking mechanism that stops the car from rolling and the safety switch will only allow the car to be started in park or neutral.
