2002 Chevy Impala turn signal lights

my turn signal lights will all of a sudden stop working. Neither the left or the right side lights will work. Then all of a sudden they will work ok.
All bulbs seem to be working properly when they are working. The fuse is ok.. Should I change all bulbs?

Check and test the flasher unit and turn/hazard switch
