Have you checked the wheel bearing?

But I am going to the dealership now since I have exhausted all the mechanics I know. I have been told the tire is good and its alligned correctly and balanced, and also that the rim itself is true. Cv halfshaft was replaced last yr and it was cracked but that didnt sovle anything and I was out 400 bucks. So my only idea now is bearings and the rest of the CV joint. What astonishes me is that once you push through the wobble and accelerate past 55 mph its gone completely. The car loves the highway and turnpike 75-80 mph, but in town it acts epileptic? Thanks for your help, I do appreciate it a lot!

Glad to help. However, the description you have given me sounds like a tire balance problem. Many times you can drive through the vibration. Let me know what you find. I am interesting in what they find.
