It's been diagnose with air flow sensor repair which has been changed, but the engine light is still on the mechanic states that I need another one that communicates to the one that has been replaced is that true.

Can you tell me the code. To me it sounds like a cat converter. These always plug up on this vehicle.

Sounds like the mechanic is just swapping parts and not properly diagnosing the concern. Ost the trouble codes for us so we can help you out.

Thanks guys for the wonderful input. They finally fixed the issue, it was the air flow sensor, map sensor, and the? Tms sensor? I'm not quite sure that's the correct initials but it on the invoice, but the check engine light is not on anymore.

In all my years as a tech, I have never seen a MAF MAP and TPS go bad at the same time. You might want to check out some other repair shops for any future repairs.?

The code was 102 which after replacing- that's the same diagnostic code that kept appearing.102-well it hasnt came on since yesterday after I left the repair shop. Wish me luck and thanks alot you guys are very helpful.
