I would like to change the water pump on my 3.8l V6 due to coolant leaking from the weep hole, but I'm not sure the difficulity level and time required to perform this task. Is this task a "do-it-yourselfer"? A brief explanation of whats involved would be appreciated.

Thanks, in advance!

yes its a job for a do it yourselfer, its pretty cut and dry.

drain the fluid down unlesss you dont mind coolant allover the place. then unhook and mark the hoses.

then remove the bolts and pull the pump out.
