Vehicle runs and drives fine. Several weeks ago the SECURITY light on the dash started coming on after the vehicle was driven for a few miles and would stay on untile the ignition was cycled. I reset the system through the radio but it still did the same thing. Then one day when I turned the key nothing happened. I pushed the unlock or lock (can't remember) and then it started ok. Right after that the door locks quit working. Will not work from the lock buttons inside the car or from the remote. I am assuming the BCM has failed. What is your thoughts?

if it is not starting then I would say its the ignition switch that is bad

but you need to have the codes scanned with a tech 2 so they can see the security codes
