2001 Chevy Impala power door locks

My driver door is giving me problems. When power door locks are used with my remote, it will throw my car in security mode and I have to play with the door locks so I can get my car started. Also my driver side power window button seems to be off because it I have problems putting my window up. Can the power locks be disconnected, if how?
