2001 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Currently the button to get trunk open and automatic locks and automatic courtesy lights on the inside of car do not turn off. What can cause this?

If the lights are only supposed to come on when a door is open, then there might be a messed up sensor in the door (or whatever tells the car the door is open might be messed up). I'm not sure though. Or maybe, if the car's headlights automatically are supposed to come on in the dark, then the sensor that tells the car when it's dark might be messed up, and that sensor would probably also make the interior lights come on since it would be hard to see in your car in the dark with no lights
