2001 Chevy Impala ignition switch/security light is on.

I would like to know if the security system module can be disconnected instead of spending $750. to replace the ignition cylinder. I can live without the clicker. I have put over $4000. into this car over the past 8 months and cannot afford another $750..

no way to disable the system. It goes through multiple control modules.
