2001 Chevy Impala Ignition switch

Hello I have a 2001 Chevy impala and recently about two day ago when I started my car all my gages went to zero and in my message center every light in there was blinking. I turned the car and turned it back on and everything went to working fine. Yesterday driving down the road my hand will go up and come down and my security light stayed on all the while. And when I turned my car off everything went back to normal whatever that is. This morning when I started it up my lights was flicking in the dash board and my head lights, but after awhile they stop. So what could it be what is wrong with my car thanks in advance.

Have the body control module (BCM) checked.

Now my lights are going dime in my dash I had my igintion switch replace never had the BCM checked.

I would recomend trying that. Have it checked. The dimming lights could even be associated with it.

Went to get it checked my starter and alternator is bad on it.
