2001 impala 3.8L, 66000 miles. Has a code p0300. Scanner says #4 cylinder is missing. I replaced plug wires, cleaned and gapped plugs and swapped # 4 with another cylinder that was not missing. Still misses but a lot less than before. I checked all injectors with ohmmeter and they are all within the specs. When running the vehicle with scanner attached, engine seems to miss only at idle. It drives fine with any throttle position above idle. When the miss first started, it was bad enough to flash the Check Engine Light, now it stays off after clearing codes. I just installed a can of 44-k. Do I just need to run this tank of gas and see if it cleans the #4 injector or? HELP.

Might need to replace the plugs instead of just cleaning them. Yes, fuel system cleaner needs a littel time to work its way through the system. Drive it for a littel and see if it helps, otherwise it coul dneed an injector. Recheck the m when they are hot too, usually when you will get the most accurate readings, as far as a weak or failing one goes
