2001 Chevy Impala brake light

my right brake light works when applied but my left one doesnt. i changed the bulb and checked all fuses what is problem

Check the bulb socket for corrosion/debris and check for power at the yellow wire-no power get the turn signal switch tested the power for the L/R brake lights goes thru this switch

Hi there,

check that there is power and earth at the light socket if not check the loom plug is not corroded check for loose wires into the light socket, start here.
