I bought my car used 3 weeks ago. It had to be jumped when I test drove it. They put a new battery in but 1 week later all was dead on the car again. When I took it back to them they said the battery was weak so they again put another NEW one in. Another week goes bye and again the car is dead. What could be wrong? My Dad thinks its the alternater. I think something is draining it. HELP I am 16 and this is my first car. All my savings is in it.

Hi, Get A Dvom Meter, Put it On 20 Volt Dc Scale, Put The Red Lead From the Meter To The Positive Side Of the Battery, And the other Lead Of The Meter To the Negative Or Black cable of the battery. Start the car, You should see about 14.2volts or so. With engine running. If that's ok, then you may have a voltage draw in the car. Then we will have to get further into it.

Hope This Helps You,
Good Luck
