2001 Chevy Impala V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 103000 miles

car will not start or even crank. New battery. Security light comes on, then half hour latter it starts security light stays on sometimes light goes out ok for afew days then it will not start? What could be the problem.

You have a theft deterent module fault. You should have it scanned for codes with a tech2 scanner.I have seen many of the problems caused from a defective passlock sensor.
