2000 Chevy Impala Two Wheel Drive

The driver's side window dropped into the door. What are the possible reasons. Is there a manual available that shows me how to get the door panel off?

Hi there,

it is not very advisable to remover the thermostat for the cooling system, as internal temperer regulation is quite critical for economy and pre longing engine life. ( now that is a long story ) There will be a range of thermostats for your car depending on conditions you drive in. A new thermostat should last many years, and if you replace it and still experience over heating issues, we must look further into your problem.
