2000 Chevy Impala 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 115000 miles

Whenever Im driving my Impala there are times when It just starts chiming, also My passenger window just dont roll down. That is the least of my problems. Latley, my impala has been stalling. Only if I drive long distances.I can stop at a red light and no problems but once I start to take off it starts knocking on me. It never turns off but Im really afraid that it will one day. What do you think the problem is?

I believe your engine is a 3.4 motor- 6 cylinder.

First thing I need to know is if you have been losing any coolant or oil. Not leaking necessarily but the level or either dropping. Check the condition of them what do they look like.

These engines are noted for an intake manifold gasket leak that can have various symptoms including the latter most part of your question.
