Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2000 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am trying to change the rear wheel bearing assembly.
I removed the caliper, rotor, and 4 bolts holding the assembly in. The old assembly will not come off.
I'm assuming that it presses in when tightening, and is probably "corrosion welded".
How do I get the assembly off ?

Thank You.

Just take a hammer and apply some taps to the side and back to loosen it. You don't have to worry about being gentle.

It should come right off.
