i changed my 2000 impala factory radio to an after market radio and now my security light is on how can i get it to go off without taking it to the dealer i just spent 3000 on the car and i cant afford it

I questions if there is a way to turn it off. The only suggestion I have in this case is contact a dealer. Sorry I don't have better news.
