2000 Chevy Impala I ran out of Gas

2000 Chevy Impala Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Car was ran out of gas and now it will only run for about 10 minutes and then it shuts off. I was wondering if it is the fuel pump or filter?

if you ran out of fuel than you need to replace the filter and run fuel injector cleaner through the system
