i hhad put fuel in my car and after i drove it about 18 miles and turned off car, and then after about 4 hours started it again in which ran fine after i got the fuel, after hours i stated i started it and it started to miss or should i say i smelled fuel and and was like it was flooding out and kept shutting down on me. it would stay runnig it was like it was flooding out on me. i had it towed to a machanic shop in which they said it was the massive air flow sensor and which was put on my car. i brought it home and drove on a speed limit at 45mph and i started feeling the car doing it again. i came home car sit for 2 days then i drove it again at 35 to 30 mph on a back road and it ran fine, while i was a my bank sitting it started running hard again like it flooding out again and shut down. it took several tries to get it started and after getting it started it ran like it was studdering a few mile and worked out but i fewel its something else other than the air flow sensor. i want whatever it is fixed. a diagnostic was ran on it also.

You could have a bad fuel pressure regulator, when the regulator goes bad the engine vacuum will draw fuel out of the regulator straight in to the engine.
