my car ran out of gas, put gas in went about fifty yards and it quit, changed fuel filter , fuel pump is pumping gas , checked fuses too, don't know what else to check.My car started to hesitate about a month before running out of gas don't know if that has anything to do with the problem.

make sure you have good ignition spark.
Check the fuel pressure with a pressure gauge.
