Trouble code P1441?

My check engine light is coming on and the Trouble Code is P1441. Do you have any ideas what could be causing this and how I go about fixing it. Thanks

There is no such code number for a 96 impala. Check it again and make sure that's the correct number.

The P1441 trouble code indicates an issue with the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP).

Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Flow During Non-Purge

So this means the purge valve is stuck open which is common, here is the location so you can swap it out and then clear the codes to help fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
