how many bolts do I remove to get off the waterpump?

If you don't have a book - go to the parts store and ask to look at one and count the bolt holes. Also, when you take the old off, draw it out on a piece of cardboard. Put the bolts in the cardboard in the correct spot they go back in. Putting a longer bolt in a short hole can damage many things.
