WHY DOES MY ENGINE START SHAKING REAL BAD AND SOMETIMES CUT OFF WHEN I PUT IT IN GEAR?

There is a device called the TCC (torque convertor clutch lockup). If it is stuck (engaged) all the time it will cause the car to shake and stall. It is only supposed to engage at 35-45mph after shifting into high gear. You can try removing the connector and see if the shaking stops, otherwise it will need to be replaced or further diagnosis performed.
