1973 Chevy Impala

Hey guys! I've got a 73 Impala with point and coil style ignition. I'm going to put on an HEI instead. I found one im my dads garage. But out of curiousity, can I track down what it came out of? The number on the distributor base is 1103436. Is this possible to trace? Thanks, Curtis.

Hi there,

That number does not come up as anything in particular that i can see, does it have a brand name, that may help.
