I'VE REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR 4 TIMES AND IF IT RUNS FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND THE BATTERY GOES DEAD. AND THE ALTERNATOR LIGHTS STAYS HALF ON.

check for voltage at the fat red wire at the back of the alternator for power. check the wires at the starter motor for a burnt fusible link. with the key on and engine off check for power at the brown wire at the back of the alternator, it should have 12 volts. let us know what you find.
