The car was running, I have replaced the battery, but the motor died and there is no power for the lights to come on and the car will not start. There is some corriosion on the battery connectors, would this be my problem? If so what is the best way to clean the connectors?

Clean it with baking soda and water or you can use coca-cola, also inspect and test the fusible link
