Shakes or Wobbles problem 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 31000 miles

I have a Chevy HHR that is in great condition. Recently the front passenger tire had a flat and I used SLIME to repair the small leek. Now at 60 mph after driving at stop and go rates for 20 min a wild vibration takes over the vehicle. It only occurs at 60 mph and stops when I accelerate but comes back when the car hit 60 mph again. Could it be the tire is out of balance or that it is some other occurrence.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a tire that is coming apart inside. Please jack up your car in the front and then in the rear and roll the tires to see if you can find a bad spot in the tire such as a bubble or where you can see the tread is off round showing the tire is bad.

this happen after a flat tire pretty often.

Please let us know what happens, we are interested too see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
