2005 Chevy Express All air comes out defrost vent

No matter what setting we put air on (defrost, vent floor), all air comes out defrost vents. There is also a small air hissing sound inside van.

Find the hiss, that will be a vacuum leak, plug that hose back in, or replace the leaky controller, and it will be fixed, vac leaks make the system defualt to defrost registers.
