2004 Chevy Express car sometimes shakes violently at highwa

A few times lately while driving on the highway, my van began shaking violently. One time was when I pressed on the brake. Another time was when I hit a pothole. It has done it a couple of other times, but I don't remember anything related to why it began.

as you've stated you hit a pothole at leastonce. and you felt it oncewhile braking have your front end checked out. you may have a bad ball joint or idler arm. Of course it could be a tire as well, but best to get it checked.
