2002 Chevy Express distributor

My distributor keeps needing to be replaced. I bought the van in september of 2009 and so far I have had the rotor and cap replaced in jan of 2010,mar of 2010 and now today again. I had new plugs and wires put on. is the problem something before the distrbutor? please help.

with a van there is a heat problem and the cap may be really cheap depending on the brand. Also is dieelectric compoudn being put on the rotor? it should be. maybe try another different brand of cap, one that may be more exspensive as you've replaced 3 times already.
