Van runs great, shifts fine. However, when you are going up a hill and the transmission is at the point where it drops down out of overdrive it begins shutter until you give it more throttle and it drops down. It seams to happen right when the torque converter should lock out. Any suggestions? It has had this symptom for 100,000 miles.

A TRANSGO shift kit should correct this problem. It has a tougher TCC spring to boost the pressure and keep it applied.
