The other day I was running errands. After a few stop with no problems, I went to start it and it wouldn't start. Eventually it did start, but when I went to take off it bogged down. At first I thought that maybe the gas gauge was wrong and it was out of gas, this wouldn't surprise me because we've had to replace the fuel sensor/pump many times. But instead it was almost like it was trying to flood out. I made it about a mile and it stalled. It didn't want to restart, but again it eventually did, however it acted the same and withing a couple miles stalled. It hasn't been that long, maybe 6-7 months since I changed the fuel filter and pump. Any insight you could give would be gretly appreciated, thanks.

Some of these years there was a problem with the harness going to the fuel pump. Yours may be one. It would keep acting like a failed pump when in reality it was the harness. They do have a small harness that should be spliced in it's about a foot long. The better fuel pumps have this harness as the connection is different as well. Check your fuel pressure as it should be 40 minimum. There is no reason that you should have 6-7 pumps on this vehicle unless you have over a million miles on it lol. Also clean your throttle plate with choke cleaner on both sides to get teh junk off it from oil vapor.
