I have a 99 chevy express 1 ton van.

When I turn signal left and right nothing happens. When I press the hazards, only the left side lights up on the dash, and only the left side flashes out side?

I am inclined to assume the turn signal switch is broken, but I am not sure as it seems the circuit is somewhat complicated. I have checked all the bulbs.

What do you think is the matter?

Hi there twisterman and TY for the donation this is what keeps the site going.

Check and test the turn/hazard lamp flasher in the I/P relay center under left side of dash to include the turn/hazard switch.

I had this problem, too. In my my case dirt seeped down into the hazard switch. Try getting some electrical contact cleaner to flow down into the switch and turn on and off a few times.
