there is no emergency fuel shut off on any GM vehicle,only ford has this. However the fuel pump and oil sending unit is used in the event of an accident that will shut off power to the fuel pump.
Do you hear the fuel pump come on for a few secs if not could be the ECM B or the fuel pump relay.
